Rachel Wojciak is a self-taught artist specializing in realism and portraits. She grew up in a small, rural farm town in Connecticut, where she spent most of her childhood immersed in nature. This laid the foundation for her inspiration pertaining to wildlife as subject matter further on. In addition to avian friends, Wojciak enjoys painting and drawing her favorite musicians.
Since 2019 Wojciak has been involved in the labor of love known as wildlife rehabilitation. She holds state permits for wildlife rehabilitation in the states of Connecticut and Massachusetts, with plans to attain a New Hampshire permit as well. Working so closely with wildlife in person granted Wojciak a new appreciation of the many intricate details of her favorite art subjects.
Wojciak currently studies Wildlife and Conservation Biology through the University of New Hampshire. She would love to pursue a career with a focus in ornithology. In her free time, she enjoys creating art, birding, photography, pole, weightlifting, and enjoying the outdoors.
